The process of Sellen

the helmet:

Sellen’s helmet took over a week of consistent printing and over a kilogram of filament. It was well worth it as she has become one of my favourite props! Once 3D printed she was glued together, filled with wood filler and given multiple generous coats of spray painting before detailing with acrylic paint.

The robes:

Sellen’s robes were my first real sewing project and I can say I have come a long way since then. This is my second version of them. They are made with a deep blue cotton fabric and detailed with black fabric paint.

the sash:

The sash is one of the easiest parts of Sellen’s cosplay to make, but it has a huge impact in pulling it all together. The challenging part was sewing on the gold “embroidered” look.

the staff:

The staff was one of the last things I added to her cosplay. It took about 3 days of printing and was also assembled with glue, wood filler and a generous amount of spray paint.
